Leadership Training Series

The Essential Skills Training is designed for leaders and up-and-coming leaders at every level in an organization. The training is delivered in a blended model format and incorporates adult learning principals. Sessions take place one day per month (10 sessions), over a one-year period. Embedded throughout the training are core competencies for the social service sector and soft skills required for effective leadership. 

Participants are required to take on leadership roles during sessions and are provided with techniques and tools to practice the skills in their organizations.  Participants also have access to individual coaching sessions between the modules with the facilitators.
